I’ve only been to 14 out of 28. Hopefully I’ll be able to say I’ve been to all 28 out of 28 before I turn 30.

This commercial has been on TV often and it really makes me want to visit Australia! 2013? 2014? Let’s make it happen!

I meant to post this a while back, but never got around to it. I love the song, the footage, and of course, I love and miss Prague every day.
I saw Jersey Boys at the Prince Edward Theatre in London a few days ago and now I’m addicted to the songs. It’s the original London cast in the video so not the ones I saw (besides Ryan Molloy who plays Frankie, he’s still there today) but they’re all so good! I love love love the West End.
Me: Is this the line to the restroom?
British Girl: I’m not sure where that is. But this is the line to the toilet.
Me: Oh, that’s the same thing!
Definitely the funniest moment of the day.
And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
- Luke 2:8-14 (King James Version)
When I browse through people’s tumblr posts, I often see many of them write about their best friend at one point or another. I always enjoy reading these, because it’s nice to know that we all have that one friend or two out there that we can call our best friend. Today, I want to write about mine. One, because as I travel and meet different people from all over the world, we always manage to end up talking about our closest friends and I was reminded of her. And two, simply because I miss her dearly.
I have a couple friends that I can call my best friend, but the one who comes to my mind the most is Clara. We became friends freshman year of college, so it’s not like I’ve known her all my life, but I feel like I have. It’s funny because I’ve rarely gotten to see her since she transferred to Tech the following year, and every break we both seemed to be out of the state or country. And now that I have officially gone abroad, I won’t see her for another year. But still, distance doesn’t seem to matter much. When we get to talking, it goes on for hours.
I consider Clara my best friend because I can trust her entirely. I think trust is one of the most important, if not the most important factor in any relationship. She’s the one friend I can open up everything to without feeling embarrassed or ashamed. She’s seen some of my worst times, and she was there for me through it all. She never loses her patience and is always so kind and encouraging. She helps me to stay on the right track and when she worries, I know that it’s real and genuine. She’s the one friend I can connect to, I can talk about my past and future, who understands me, my goals and my dreams. She’s always been there for me through thick and thin, and I know that she always will be.
Clara is such a beautiful person, both inside and out. And I’m not just saying that because she’s my best friend. She’s one of the nicest and sweetest people I know, who also happens to be so pretty. She gives me hope for this nasty world right now, that there still are good people like her out there. I’m so so so very thankful that I have someone like her who I can call my best friend. I’m truly blessed.
I can’t stop listening to this. This is why I love Glee.
